- 850 g Oleev Smart Vitafit Edibale Vegetable Oil
- 100 g Zoff Garlic Powder
- 900 G Kikkoman Naturally Brewed Dark Soy Sauce
- 200 g Urban Platter Vegetable Bouillon & Broth Powder
- 1 kg Akar Powder Salt
- 100 g Everest White Pepper
- 125 g White Shimeji Mushroom (Anabe)
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 500 g Weikfield Cornstarch Amazingly Versatile Gluten Free
Instructions
- 1. Slice 500 g of mushrooms into thick pieces.
- 2. Heat 2 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- 3. Add 1 diced onion and 1/4 tsp garlic powder to the pan, cooking until the onion is tender, about 5 minutes.
- 4. Stir in 1/4 cup soy sauce and 2 tsp vegetable bouillon powder, followed by the sliced mushrooms and 2 cups of water.
- 5. Cover the pan and let the mixture simmer over low heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 6. In a small bowl, mix 1/4 cup cornstarch with 1/2 cup water until smooth.
- 7. Gradually add the cornstarch mixture to the pan, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
- 8. Season with 1/4 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp white pepper to taste.
- 9. Serve the savory mushroom mixture over cooked rice or noodles for a complete meal.
