- - MASOOR DAL SPECIAL 500GM
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 500 g Desi Tomato (Tamatar)
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 50 g Everest Cumin Powder
- 1 pack (500 g) Bhagyalakshmi Rice Flour
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
- 140 g Modern Kitchens Raita Boondi - 100 % Rice Bran Oil
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the masoor dal thoroughly and soak it in water for 2-3 hours until softened.
- 2. Drain the soaked lentils and blend them into a coarse paste using minimal water.
- 3. Finely chop the spinach leaves, tomato, green chili, and coriander leaves.
- 4. In a mixing bowl, combine the lentil paste, chopped spinach, tomato, green chili, and coriander.
- 5. Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, rice flour, and salt to the mixture, and mix well to form a thick batter.
- 6. Heat a non-stick pan and drizzle 1 tbsp of oil evenly across the surface.
- 7. Scoop a small portion of the mixture, shape it into a patty, and place it on the hot pan.
- 8. Cook the patties on medium heat for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crisp.
- 9. Repeat the process with the remaining mixture, adding more oil as needed.
- 10. Remove the cooked patties and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- 11. Serve hot with a side of fresh tomato chutney or your favorite dip.
