Savory Egg Masala with Jeera Rice recipe

Ingredients

  • 6 pcs White Eggs
  • 1 kg Basmati Rice
  • - Baby Tomatoes
  • 100 g Garlic
  • loose Ginger
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli
  • 45 g Garam Masala
  • 100G Oleo
  • 100 g Salt
  • 1pc Watermelon
  • - Coriander Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Boil the eggs in a pot of water for 10 minutes, then peel and set aside.
  2. 2. Wash and soak the basmati rice in water for 15 minutes.
  3. 3. Heat 10 ml of oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, and let them sizzle for 30 seconds.
  4. 4. Add finely chopped onions, garlic, and ginger, and sauté until golden brown.
  5. 5. Stir in the chopped tomatoes and cook until softened, forming a thick masala base.
  6. 6. Add turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt; mix well.
  7. 7. Add 100 ml of water and simmer the masala for 5 minutes to enhance flavors.
  8. 8. Gently add the boiled eggs into the masala and coat them evenly; cook for 3 minutes.
  9. 9. In another pot, heat the remaining oil, add cumin seeds, and fry briefly.
  10. 10. Drain the soaked rice and add it to the pot with 200 ml of water and a pinch of salt.
  11. 11. Cover and cook the rice on low heat until all the water is absorbed and rice is fluffy.
  12. 12. Garnish the egg masala with fresh cilantro and serve alongside the jeera rice.
