Ingredients
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 200 g Hydroponic Sweet Bell Pepper (Cocktail)
- 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
- 500 g Organically Grown Tomato (Hybrid) (Tamatar)
- 100 g Milky Mist Cooking Unsalted Butter
- 250 g Mirchi Powder (Bedagi)
- 1 kg Tata Salt (Vacuum Evaporated Iodised)
- 1 Kg Kissan Tomato Paste
- 290ml Lea And Perrins Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 kg Twf Bread Flour T55 - Specialised Maida
Instructions
- 1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter. Once melted, add 2 diced onions and 1/2 diced bell pepper. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until softened.
- 2. Add 1 clove of minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- 3. Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet. Add 1 cup of diced hydroponic sweet bell pepper to the other side. Cook the bell pepper, breaking it up with a spatula, until softened, about 8-10 minutes.
- 4. Stir the cooked vegetables together, then season with 1 tablespoon of chili powder and 1 teaspoon of salt. Mix well.
- 5. Add 1 diced tomato, 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, and 1 small can (about 6 oz) of tomato paste to the skillet. Stir to combine and let the mixture simmer over low heat for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 6. If a thicker sauce is desired, mix 2 tablespoons of flour with a small amount of water to create a slurry, then stir it into the sauce during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
- 7. Serve the sauce hot over pasta, rice, or your preferred base for a satisfying dinner.
