- 100G Chicken Masala (100g)
- - Proso Millet Flour
- - Frozen Mixed Vegetables
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Ginger Powder
- 50G Suhana Meatmutton
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the millet thoroughly under running water and set aside to drain.
- 2. Heat oil in a deep pan on medium heat and sauté the chicken thighs until lightly browned on all sides.
- 3. Add the ginger powder, fresh turmeric, and Suhana Dal Makhani Spice Mix to the pan and stir for 1 minute to release the aroma.
- 4. Pour in the water and bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat to medium-low.
- 5. Add the drained millet to the pan and stir well to combine with the chicken and spices.
- 6. Allow the mixture to simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
- 7. Add the frozen mixed vegetables and salt, then continue cooking for another 10 minutes until the millet is soft and the vegetables are tender.
- 8. Remove the chicken thighs from the pan, shred the meat off the bones, and return the shredded chicken to the porridge.
- 9. Stir the porridge thoroughly to incorporate the chicken and achieve a creamy consistency.
- 10. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves before serving.
