A simple and flavorful dish of bell peppers sautéed in butter and seasoned with a Jain-friendly spice blend. Perfect for a light dinner or as a side dish.
Ingredients
- 250 g Organic Certified Green Capsicum (Donne Menasinakaayi)
- 100 ml Oleev Olivana Natural Olive Oil (Bottle)
- 1 kg Tata Salt (Vacuum Evaporated Iodised)
- 1 pack (100 g) Tata Sampann Pure Black Pepper Powder
Instructions
- 1. Wash and slice 5 green bell peppers into thin strips.
- 2. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over low heat.
- 3. Add the sliced green bell peppers to the skillet and cover with a lid. Cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally to ensure even cooking.
- 4. Remove the lid and increase the heat to medium. Continue cooking the peppers until they are lightly browned, stirring frequently.
- 5. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/8 teaspoon of black pepper, and 1 teaspoon of a (made without onion or garlic). Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes.
- 6. Serve warm as a main dish or side.
