Ingredients
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 500G Freshos Couscous Semolina
- 500 g Carrot
- 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
- 100 g Broccoli Florets
- 200 g Orange Carrot (Gajar)
- 1 ltr Bertolli Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 900 G Kikkoman Naturally Brewed Dark Soy Sauce
- 250 ml Dabur Hommade Lemon Juice (Bottle)
- 1 pack (1 kg) Annapurna Iodized Crystal Salt | Kal Uppu
- 50 g On1Y Black Peppercorns With Grinder
Instructions
- 1. In a bowl, combine 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1 grated clove of garlic, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of black pepper.
- 2. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add 1 diced onion and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
- 3. Stir in 1/2 grated carrot and 1/2 grated carrot, cooking for another 3-4 minutes until softened.
- 4. In a separate pot, bring water to a boil, add a pinch of salt, and blanch 1/2 cup of broccoli florets for 2-3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- 5. Add the seasoned vegetables to the pan and cook for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until everything is fully cooked and tender.
- 6. In a bowl, pour boiling water over 1/2 cup of couscous, cover, and let it sit for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork before serving.
- 7. Serve the cooked vegetables over the couscous, garnished with the blanched broccoli. Enjoy your meal!
