Ingredients
- 500 g Onion
- 300 g Ginger Paste
- - Garlic Paste
- 250g Green Chilli
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 50 g Cumin Powder
- - Coriander Powder
- 45 g Garam Masala
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 1 kg Rice
- - Bay Leaf
- - Green Cardamom Powder
- 50 g Cloves
Instructions
- 1. In a mixing bowl, combine mutton mince, ginger paste, garlic paste, green chili, coriander leaves, and all dry spices.
- 2. Shape the mixture into small round koftas and set them aside for 10 minutes.
- 3. Heat oil in a pan and fry the koftas until golden brown on all sides; remove and set aside.
- 4. In the same pan, sauté chopped onion until golden, then add turmeric and garam masala.
- 5. Return the koftas to the pan and simmer for 10 minutes over low heat, turning occasionally.
- 6. Meanwhile, rinse the rice and soak it for 15 minutes in water.
- 7. Boil water with saffron strands, bay leaf, cardamom, and cloves, then add the soaked rice.
- 8. Cook the rice until fluffy and fragrant, ensuring the saffron blends well.
- 9. Plate the saffron rice and arrange the koftas over it for a beautiful presentation.
- 10. Garnish with extra coriander leaves and serve hot.
