Ingredients
- - Baby Tomatoes
- 100 g Jeera
- - Red Chilli
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 45 g Garam Masala
- - Coriander Powder
- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- 100 g Salt
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Wash and soak the basmati rice in water for 20 minutes.
- 2. Mix mutton mince with ginger-garlic paste, chopped coriander, turmeric, and salt; shape into small koftas.
- 3. Heat oil in a pan, fry the koftas lightly until golden, and set aside.
- 4. In the same pan, sauté finely chopped onions until golden brown.
- 5. Add ginger-garlic paste, cook for 2 minutes, then add chopped tomatoes and spices.
- 6. Cook the gravy until the oil separates, then add 250 ml water and bring to a simmer.
- 7. Carefully place the koftas in the gravy and cook for 10-12 minutes until tender.
- 8. Heat oil in a separate pan, add cumin seeds, and sauté for 30 seconds.
- 9. Add soaked rice and stir gently; cook with 250 ml water until fluffy and aromatic.
- 10. Serve the mutton kofta curry alongside the fragrant jeera rice for a complete meal.
