Ingredients

  • - Baby Tomatoes
  • 100 g Jeera
  • - Red Chilli
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 45 g Garam Masala
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 1 kg Basmati Rice
  • 100 g Salt
  • 1pc Watermelon

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash and soak the basmati rice in water for 20 minutes.
  2. 2. Mix mutton mince with ginger-garlic paste, chopped coriander, turmeric, and salt; shape into small koftas.
  3. 3. Heat oil in a pan, fry the koftas lightly until golden, and set aside.
  4. 4. In the same pan, sauté finely chopped onions until golden brown.
  5. 5. Add ginger-garlic paste, cook for 2 minutes, then add chopped tomatoes and spices.
  6. 6. Cook the gravy until the oil separates, then add 250 ml water and bring to a simmer.
  7. 7. Carefully place the koftas in the gravy and cook for 10-12 minutes until tender.
  8. 8. Heat oil in a separate pan, add cumin seeds, and sauté for 30 seconds.
  9. 9. Add soaked rice and stir gently; cook with 250 ml water until fluffy and aromatic.
  10. 10. Serve the mutton kofta curry alongside the fragrant jeera rice for a complete meal.
