Ingredients
- 500G Besan (Gram Flour)
- 1 kg Rice
- - Baby Tomatoes
- - Green Peas
- - Cumin Seeds 100g
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- - Coriander Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- - Tomato Ketchup
- 1 kg Water Chestnuts
Instructions
- 1. Mix gram flour with turmeric, red chili powder, salt, and water to form a stiff dough.
- 2. Roll the dough into thin cylindrical shapes and boil in water for 8-10 minutes.
- 3. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, letting them splutter.
- 4. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until soft, stirring occasionally.
- 5. Stir in coriander powder and cooked green peas, mixing well.
- 6. Slice the boiled gram flour dumplings into bite-sized pieces and add to the pan.
- 7. Mix in the cooked rice and gently fold to combine all ingredients evenly.
- 8. Adjust salt and spices as needed, cooking for another 3-4 minutes.
- 9. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves and serve warm.
