- 250 ml Real Thai Unsweetened Coconut Milk
- - Ginger Powder
- - Suhana Dal Makhani Spice Mix 50g Pouch
- 100 g Orika Big Mustard Seeds
- 50 g Pluckk Organic Curry Leaves
- 500 ml Oil (For Frying)
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
Instructions
- 1. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat and add mustard seeds until they crackle.
- 2. Add curry leaves and sauté for 30 seconds to release their aroma.
- 3. Stir in ginger powder and Suhana Dal Makhani Spice Mix, cooking for another minute.
- 4. Add the frozen mixed vegetables and cook for 3-4 minutes until they soften slightly.
- 5. Pour in water and coconut milk, bringing the mixture to a gentle boil.
- 6. Slowly add rice semolina while stirring constantly to prevent lumps.
- 7. Reduce heat to low and let the mixture cook, stirring occasionally, until it thickens.
- 8. Season with salt and cook for another 2 minutes to blend flavors.
- 9. Turn off the heat and let the upma rest for 2 minutes before serving.
