Ingredients

  • 1 ltr Eggsential Liquid Egg Whites
  • 200 g Old Hill Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 kg Twf Bread Flour T55 - Specialised Maida
  • 100 g Catch Sprinklers - Iodized Table Salt
  • 1 pc (50 g) On1Y Pepper Grinder
  • 850 g Oleev Smart Vitafit Edibale Vegetable Oil
  • 1 pack (500 g) Popular Essentials Regular Maida Flour

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees and line a rimmed baking sheet with foil. Place a wire rack on another baking sheet.
  2. 2. In a large bowl, whisk together 4 egg whites, 2 teaspoons salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Set aside.
  3. 3. In another large bowl, combine 1 cup maida, 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese, and 1/2 cup flour. Season the mixture with an additional pinch of salt and pepper.
  4. 4. Working in batches, dip strips of dough made from maida into the egg white mixture, letting any excess drip off, and dredge them in the maida mixture. Press gently to ensure the coating adheres, then place the coated strips on the foil-lined baking sheet.
  5. 5. Heat 1 cup vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Working in batches, cook the coated strips for 4 to 6 minutes, turning once, until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. 6. Transfer the cooked strips to the wire rack and keep them warm in the oven while you cook the remaining batches.
  7. 7. Serve the crispy strips immediately with your choice of dipping sauce or side dishes.
