Ingredients

  • 200 g Paneer
  • 125 ml Flavoured Yogurt Drink - Mango
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli
  • 45 g Garam Masala
  • 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
  • 1 kg Basmati Rice
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 100 g Salt
  • - Coriander Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Cut the paneer into cubes and set aside in a bowl.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, lemon juice, and salt to create a marinade.
  3. 3. Add the paneer cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are evenly coated. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
  4. 4. Wash the basmati rice thoroughly and soak it in water for 10 minutes.
  5. 5. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan and toast cumin seeds until aromatic.
  6. 6. Add soaked and drained rice to the pan, and stir gently for 2 minutes.
  7. 7. Pour water into the pan, season with salt, and cook the rice until fluffy, around 12 minutes.
  8. 8. Heat the remaining oil in a separate pan and grill the marinated paneer on medium heat, flipping occasionally, until golden and slightly charred.
  9. 9. Arrange the grilled paneer tikka over the cooked jeera rice in serving bowls.
  10. 10. Garnish the dish with freshly chopped coriander leaves for added flavor.
