Ingredients
- 200 g Paneer
- 125 ml Flavoured Yogurt Drink - Mango
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 45 g Garam Masala
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- 100 g Jeera
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 100 g Salt
- - Coriander Powder
Instructions
- 1. Cut the paneer into cubes and set aside in a bowl.
- 2. In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, lemon juice, and salt to create a marinade.
- 3. Add the paneer cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are evenly coated. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
- 4. Wash the basmati rice thoroughly and soak it in water for 10 minutes.
- 5. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan and toast cumin seeds until aromatic.
- 6. Add soaked and drained rice to the pan, and stir gently for 2 minutes.
- 7. Pour water into the pan, season with salt, and cook the rice until fluffy, around 12 minutes.
- 8. Heat the remaining oil in a separate pan and grill the marinated paneer on medium heat, flipping occasionally, until golden and slightly charred.
- 9. Arrange the grilled paneer tikka over the cooked jeera rice in serving bowls.
- 10. Garnish the dish with freshly chopped coriander leaves for added flavor.
