Ingredients
- 200 g Paneer
- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- 125 ml Flavoured Yogurt Drink - Mango
- - Red Chilli
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 45 g Garam Masala
- 100 g Jeera
- - Coriander Powder
- 250g Green Chilli
- 100 g Salt
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the basmati rice thoroughly and soak it in water for 20 minutes.
- 2. Marinate the paneer with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, and salt. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
- 3. Heat oil in a pan and sauté cumin seeds until aromatic, then add the marinated paneer and cook until golden brown.
- 4. Boil the soaked rice with mint leaves, cilantro, and a pinch of salt until 70% cooked, then drain excess water.
- 5. In a pot, layer the cooked rice and paneer tikka, adding coriander powder, green chilies, and lemon juice between layers.
- 6. Cover the pot with a tight lid and cook on low heat for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
- 7. Gently mix the biryani before serving and garnish with fresh cilantro for added flavor.
