Ingredients

  • 200 g Paneer
  • 1 kg Basmati Rice
  • 125 ml Flavoured Yogurt Drink - Mango
  • - Red Chilli
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 45 g Garam Masala
  • 100 g Jeera
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • 100 g Salt
  • 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the basmati rice thoroughly and soak it in water for 20 minutes.
  2. 2. Marinate the paneer with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, and salt. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
  3. 3. Heat oil in a pan and sauté cumin seeds until aromatic, then add the marinated paneer and cook until golden brown.
  4. 4. Boil the soaked rice with mint leaves, cilantro, and a pinch of salt until 70% cooked, then drain excess water.
  5. 5. In a pot, layer the cooked rice and paneer tikka, adding coriander powder, green chilies, and lemon juice between layers.
  6. 6. Cover the pot with a tight lid and cook on low heat for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
  7. 7. Gently mix the biryani before serving and garnish with fresh cilantro for added flavor.
