- - DELI QUINOA/BASMATI RICE 1KG
- 200 g Paneer
- 200 g Spinach (Palak)
- 500 ml Oil (For Frying)
- 100 g Popular Essentials Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
- 500 g Onion
- 110 g Unpeeled Garlic Cloves
- loose Ginger
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 500 g Desi Tomato (Tamatar)
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 100 g Catch Super Garam Masala
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
Instructions
- 1. Wash and soak the basmati rice in water for 20 minutes to ensure even cooking.
- 2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, letting them sizzle for a few seconds.
- 3. Finely chop onion, garlic, ginger, and green chili, and sauté them in the pan until golden brown.
- 4. Add diced tomatoes and cook until they become soft, forming a thick masala base.
- 5. Stir in turmeric, red chili powder, and garam masala, mixing well to coat the vegetables.
- 6. Add the washed spinach to the pan and cook until it wilts and reduces in size, releasing its juices.
- 7. Cube the paneer and gently fold it into the spinach mixture, cooking for 2-3 minutes.
- 8. Add soaked rice to the pan along with water and salt, stirring gently to combine with the masala.
- 9. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and cover the pan, letting it simmer until the rice is fully cooked.
- 10. Once the rice is tender and fluffy, turn off the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- 11. Fluff the rice gently with a fork and transfer to serving bowls.
- 12. Garnish the rice bowl with a sprig of fresh coriander for added flavor and presentation.
