Ingredients

  • 500 g Whole Farm Premium Kangni/Foxtail Millet - 500 G
  • 200 g Paneer
  • 250 g Spinach
  • 500 g Onion
  • - Tomato Ketchup
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli
  • 45 g Garam Masala
  • 100 g Salt
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 1pc Watermelon

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the foxtail millet thoroughly under water and soak it for 10 minutes.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, and let them crackle for a few seconds.
  3. 3. Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown, about 5 minutes.
  4. 4. Mix in the ginger-garlic paste and cook until the raw smell disappears.
  5. 5. Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt, and cook until the tomatoes are soft.
  6. 6. Stir in the fresh spinach and cook for 2-3 minutes until it wilts down.
  7. 7. Add the soaked millet and 300 ml water to the pan, stirring to combine.
  8. 8. Cover the pan and let it simmer on low heat for 15 minutes or until the millet is cooked through.
  9. 9. Meanwhile, in a separate pan, lightly sauté the paneer cubes until golden on all sides.
  10. 10. Once the millet is cooked, add the garam masala and sautéed paneer to the pan, mixing gently.
  11. 11. Cook for another 2-3 minutes to blend the flavors, then remove from heat.
  12. 12. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves before serving warm.
