Ingredients

  • 500 Grms Bajra Atta Millets Atta 500 Grms
  • - Tong Garden Cheddar N Jalapeno Chickpeas
  • 500 g Onion
  • - Tomato Ketchup
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • loose Ginger
  • 100 g Garlic
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 45 g Garam Masala
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 1pc Watermelon

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the millet thoroughly and soak it in water for 10 minutes.
  2. 2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, letting them crackle.
  3. 3. Add finely chopped onions, garlic, ginger, and green chili, sauté until golden.
  4. 4. Stir in diced tomatoes and cook until soft and pulpy.
  5. 5. Mix turmeric powder, coriander powder, and garam masala into the pan.
  6. 6. Drain the millet and add it to the pan, stirring well to coat with spices.
  7. 7. Pour in water, season with salt, and bring to a boil.
  8. 8. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes or until millet is tender.
  9. 9. Add cooked chickpeas to the pan and gently mix to combine.
  10. 10. Cook for another 5 minutes, allowing flavors to meld together.
  11. 11. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves before serving.
