Ingredients
- 500 Grms Bajra Atta Millets Atta 500 Grms
- - Tong Garden Cheddar N Jalapeno Chickpeas
- 500 g Onion
- - Tomato Ketchup
- 250g Green Chilli
- loose Ginger
- 100 g Garlic
- 100 g Jeera
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 45 g Garam Masala
- - Coriander Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the millet thoroughly and soak it in water for 10 minutes.
- 2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, letting them crackle.
- 3. Add finely chopped onions, garlic, ginger, and green chili, sauté until golden.
- 4. Stir in diced tomatoes and cook until soft and pulpy.
- 5. Mix turmeric powder, coriander powder, and garam masala into the pan.
- 6. Drain the millet and add it to the pan, stirring well to coat with spices.
- 7. Pour in water, season with salt, and bring to a boil.
- 8. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes or until millet is tender.
- 9. Add cooked chickpeas to the pan and gently mix to combine.
- 10. Cook for another 5 minutes, allowing flavors to meld together.
- 11. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves before serving.
- 12. Serve the pilaf warm and enjoy its comforting flavors.
