Mutton Seekh Kebabs with Mint Rice recipe

Ingredients

  • 250 g Mutton
  • 1 kg Rice
  • 500 g Onion
  • loose Ginger
  • - Red Chilli
  • 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
  • 1pc Watermelon

  • - MF GARLIC CLOVES 100GM
  • 50 g Cumin Powder
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Rice Flour
  • 100 g Salt

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash the rice thoroughly and soak it in water for 20 minutes.
  2. 2. Finely chop the onion, garlic, and ginger, then mix them with minced mutton in a large bowl.
  3. 3. Add cumin, coriander, red chili, turmeric, rice flour, salt, and lemon juice to the mutton mixture, and knead well.
  4. 4. Shape the mutton mixture into kebab-like cylinders around skewers or sticks.
  5. 5. Heat oil in a grill pan or tawa and cook the kebabs evenly on all sides until browned and cooked through.
  6. 6. Boil water in a pot, add soaked rice, and cook until 90% done; drain excess water.
  7. 7. In the same pot, sauté chopped mint leaves in a little oil, then mix them into the rice.
  8. 8. Cover the pot and steam the rice with mint on low heat for 5 minutes for enhanced flavor.
  9. 9. Arrange the mutton kebabs on a serving plate alongside the mint rice.
  10. 10. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a wedge of lemon before serving.
