Ingredients
- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- 500 g Onion
- - Tomato Ketchup
- 250 g Carrot
- - Green Peas
- - Red Chilli
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 100 g Salt
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the basmati rice thoroughly and soak it in water for 20 minutes.
- 2. Boil the soy nuggets in water for 5 minutes, squeeze out excess water, and set aside.
- 3. Heat oil in a large pan and sauté chopped onions until golden brown.
- 4. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes until aromatic.
- 5. Stir in chopped tomatoes, carrots, green beans, and peas, and cook for 5 minutes.
- 6. Mix in Goda masala, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt, and cook for another 2 minutes.
- 7. Add the soaked rice and water to the pan, stirring gently to combine.
- 8. Cover the pan with a lid and cook on low heat for 15 minutes until the rice is fully cooked.
- 9. In a separate pan, lightly fry the boiled soy nuggets until crispy.
- 10. Garnish the rice with coriander leaves and top with the crunchy soy nuggets.
- 11. Serve hot and enjoy the aromatic and nutritious Masale Bhaat.
