Ingredients
- 80 g Soya Chunks
- 1 kg Rice
- 500 g Minimeal Onion
- 500 g Desi Tomato (Tamatar)
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 1 pack (100 g) Everest - Ginger Garlic Paste
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 100 g Catch Super Garam Masala
- 500 ml Oil (For Frying)
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
Instructions
- 1. Soak the soy chunks in boiling water for 10 minutes until softened.
- 2. Rinse the soy chunks thoroughly and squeeze out excess water.
- 3. Cook the rice in a pot with 400 ml water and a pinch of salt until fluffy.
- 4. Heat oil in a pan and sauté finely chopped onions until golden brown.
- 5. Add ginger garlic paste and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- 6. Stir in chopped tomatoes, green chilies, turmeric, chili powder, and coriander powder.
- 7. Cook the mixture until the tomatoes soften and the spices are well blended.
- 8. Add the soy chunks and mix well to coat them in the masala mixture.
- 9. Sprinkle garam masala and salt, stirring continuously for 5 minutes.
- 10. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and allow the flavors to meld for 2 minutes.
- 11. Serve the hot masala soy chunks over the cooked rice in individual bowls.
