Ingredients

  • - DELI QUINOA/BASMATI RICE 1KG
  • 1 pack (200 g) Godrej Real Good Medium Prawns Peeled & Deveined (Freshly Frozen)
  • 100 g Lemon

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash the rice thoroughly and soak it in water for 10 minutes.
  2. 2. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan, add minced garlic and chopped onion, and sauté until golden brown.
  3. 3. Add the prawns to the pan and season with turmeric powder, red chili powder, black pepper powder, and 1 tsp salt.
  4. 4. Cook the prawns for 5-7 minutes until they are opaque and cooked through, then remove from the pan.
  5. 5. In the same pan, add 1 tbsp oil and drained rice, sauté lightly for 2 minutes.
  6. 6. Add 300 ml water, remaining salt, and let the rice cook covered on low heat for 15 minutes.
  7. 7. Once the rice is cooked, stir in lemon juice and mix well.
  8. 8. Transfer the rice to a serving plate and top it with the cooked prawns.
