Ingredients
- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- 6 pcs White Eggs
- 500 g Onion
- - Tomato Ketchup
- 250g Green Chilli
- 100 g Garlic
- loose Ginger
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 45 g Garam Masala
- - Coriander Powder
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 100 g Salt
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the basmati rice thoroughly and soak it in water for 15 minutes.
- 2. Boil the rice in 300 ml of water with a pinch of salt until cooked. Drain excess water and set aside.
- 3. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, letting them sizzle for 30 seconds.
- 4. Add finely chopped onions and sauté until golden brown, stirring frequently.
- 5. Add minced garlic and ginger, followed by chopped green chilies. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- 6. Stir in chopped tomatoes, turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, and garam masala. Cook until the tomatoes soften and the spices blend well.
- 7. Crack the eggs directly into the pan and scramble them gently, mixing them with the masala.
- 8. Cook the eggs until fully set, ensuring they absorb the flavors of the spices.
- 9. Mix the cooked rice into the egg masala, ensuring the rice is evenly coated and heated through.
- 10. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and adjust the salt as needed.
- 11. Serve the masala egg rice warm in bowls for a hearty dinner.
