Ingredients
- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- 6 pcs White Eggs
- - Green Peas
- 500 g Onion
- - Tomato Ketchup
- 100 g Garlic
- loose Ginger
- 250g Green Chilli
- 100 g Jeera
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 45 g Garam Masala
- 100 g Salt
- - Coriander Powder
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the basmati rice and soak it in water for 15 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- 2. Boil the eggs in water for 10 minutes, peel them, and slice into halves.
- 3. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, allowing them to splutter for a few seconds.
- 4. Add finely chopped onion, garlic, ginger, and green chilies; sauté until golden brown.
- 5. Stir in chopped tomato and cook until softened, forming a thick base.
- 6. Add carrots, green beans, and peas; sauté for 3 minutes to combine flavors.
- 7. Mix in coriander powder, turmeric, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt; cook for 2 minutes.
- 8. Add the soaked rice and gently mix to coat the grains with the spice mixture.
- 9. Pour in water, cover with a lid, and let the rice cook on medium heat for 12 minutes.
- 10. Once the rice is cooked, gently place boiled egg halves on top and sprinkle with fresh coriander leaves.
- 11. Turn off the heat and allow the pulao to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- 12. Fluff the rice gently with a fork and serve warm with a side of yogurt or pickle, if desired.
