Ingredients
- 25G Fisherman'S Friend Sugar Free Mouth Freshener - Lemon (25g)
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
- 125 ml Flavoured Yogurt Drink - Mango
- - Red Chilli
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 45 g Garam Masala
- 100 g Salt
- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- - Green Peas
- 500 g Onion
- - Bay Leaf
- 100 g Jeera
- 1pc Watermelon
- - Coriander Powder
Instructions
- 1. Cut the fish fillets into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
- 2. In a bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, and salt to prepare the marinade.
- 3. Coat the fish pieces with the marinade and let them rest for 15-20 minutes.
- 4. Wash the basmati rice and soak it in water for 15 minutes, then drain.
- 5. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and sauté cumin seeds and bay leaf until aromatic.
- 6. Add chopped onions, carrots, and green peas to the pan and cook until softened.
- 7. Stir in the soaked rice and water, cover, and cook on low heat until the rice is fully cooked.
- 8. Preheat a grill pan or tawa and lightly grease it with oil.
- 9. Place the marinated fish pieces on the grill and cook them evenly for 3-4 minutes on each side.
- 10. Once the fish is cooked, remove it from the grill and set aside.
- 11. Garnish the vegetable pulao with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
- 12. Plate the fish tikka alongside the spiced vegetable pulao.
- 13. Serve hot and enjoy the balanced flavors of this dish.
