Ingredients

  • 25G Fisherman'S Friend Sugar Free Mouth Freshener - Lemon (25g)
  • 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
  • 125 ml Flavoured Yogurt Drink - Mango
  • - Red Chilli
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 45 g Garam Masala
  • 100 g Salt
  • 1 kg Basmati Rice
  • - Green Peas
  • 500 g Onion
  • - Bay Leaf
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 1pc Watermelon
  • - Coriander Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Cut the fish fillets into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
  2. 2. In a bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, and salt to prepare the marinade.
  3. 3. Coat the fish pieces with the marinade and let them rest for 15-20 minutes.
  4. 4. Wash the basmati rice and soak it in water for 15 minutes, then drain.
  5. 5. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and sauté cumin seeds and bay leaf until aromatic.
  6. 6. Add chopped onions, carrots, and green peas to the pan and cook until softened.
  7. 7. Stir in the soaked rice and water, cover, and cook on low heat until the rice is fully cooked.
  8. 8. Preheat a grill pan or tawa and lightly grease it with oil.
  9. 9. Place the marinated fish pieces on the grill and cook them evenly for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  10. 10. Once the fish is cooked, remove it from the grill and set aside.
  11. 11. Garnish the vegetable pulao with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
  12. 12. Plate the fish tikka alongside the spiced vegetable pulao.
