Ingredients
- 100 g Quinoa
- 500 g Onion
- 1 Kg Kissan Tomato Puree
- 250g Green Chilli
- 100 g Jeera
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 45 g Garam Masala
- - Coriander Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the quinoa thoroughly and set aside for cooking later.
- 2. In a bowl, mix lamb mince with ginger-garlic paste, coriander powder, turmeric, garam masala, and salt.
- 3. Shape the lamb mixture into small koftas and refrigerate for 10 minutes to firm up.
- 4. Heat oil in a deep pan and sauté cumin seeds until aromatic.
- 5. Add finely chopped onions and green chilies, cooking until golden brown.
- 6. Stir in tomato puree and cook until the oil begins to separate from the mixture.
- 7. Add water to the pan and gently place the koftas into the simmering gravy.
- 8. Cover and cook the koftas on medium heat for 15 minutes, turning halfway through.
- 9. Meanwhile, boil quinoa with water and a pinch of salt until fluffy and cooked through.
- 10. Add fresh coriander leaves to the kofta curry and adjust the seasoning as needed.
- 11. Serve the lamb kofta curry hot alongside jeera-flavored quinoa.
