A Maharashtra-style spicy chicken dish cooked on a tawa with bold Kolhapuri masala flavors.
Ingredients
- - Chicken Breakfast Sausages
- 100 G Kolhapuri Masala
- - Garlic Paste
- 300 g Ginger Paste
- - Red Chilli
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 125 ml Flavoured Yogurt Drink - Mango
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 100 g Salt
Instructions
- 1. Wash and pat dry chicken thighs thoroughly before marination.
- 2. In a bowl, mix Kolhapuri masala, garlic paste, ginger paste, chili powder, turmeric, yogurt, lemon juice, and salt.
- 3. Add the chicken thighs to the marinade and coat evenly. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
- 4. Heat oil in a large tawa over medium flame for 2-3 minutes.
- 5. Place the marinated chicken thighs on the tawa and cook for 5 minutes on each side.
- 6. Reduce the heat to low and cover the tawa. Let the chicken cook fully for another 10 minutes.
- 7. Flip occasionally to ensure even cooking and prevent burning.
- 8. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and squeeze fresh lemon juice before serving.
- 9. Serve hot with jeera rice or fresh chapati for a complete meal.
