- 200 g Paneer
- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Capsicum Green
- 100 g Garlic
- loose Ginger
- - Coriander Powder
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- - Fresh Cream
- 1 Kg Lokwan Premium Wheat Atta 1 Kg
- 200 ml Ghee
- 100 g Ajwain
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 100 g Jeera
- 1 Kg Kissan Tomato Puree
- 100 g Methi
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. In a mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour, chopped methi leaves, carom seeds, a pinch of salt, and water as needed to knead a soft dough. Let the dough rest for 15 minutes.
- 2. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, and let them splutter. Add chopped onions, ginger, garlic, and green chilies. Sauté until the onions are golden brown.
- 3. Add the tomato puree to the pan and cook until the oil separates. Then, stir in turmeric, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- 4. Add the diced bell pepper and cook for another 2 minutes to soften slightly. Then, add the cubed paneer and garam masala. Mix gently to coat the paneer with the spices.
- 5. Add fresh cream to the mixture and stir well. Simmer for 3-4 minutes, then remove from heat and set aside.
- 6. Divide the dough into equal-sized balls and roll them out into flat, round parathas.
- 7. Heat a tawa or flat pan over medium heat. Cook each paratha for 1-2 minutes on each side, applying a small amount of ghee until golden brown spots appear.
- 8. Serve the kadhai paneer hot with the freshly prepared methi parathas.
