Ingredients
- 3 pcs Cucumber Green
- 50 g On1Y Black Peppercorns With Grinder
- 250 ml Dabur Hommade Lemon Juice (Bottle)
- 1 kg Tata Salt (Vacuum Evaporated Iodised)
- 1 kg Whole Farm Grocery Sugar (Packet)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the cucumber thoroughly and slice it finely into thin rounds.
- 2. Sprinkle the cucumber slices with 3 teaspoons of salt and let them sit for 10 minutes to release excess water.
- 3. In a small saucepan, combine 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and a pinch of black pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely.
- 4. Remove the saucepan from heat and allow the marinade to cool to room temperature.
- 5. Drain any excess water from the cucumber slices and place them in a bowl. Pour the cooled marinade over the cucumber slices, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- 6. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
- 7. Serve the chilled cucumber salad as a light and flavorful dinner side dish.
