Ingredients

  • 3 pcs Cucumber Green
  • 50 g On1Y Black Peppercorns With Grinder
  • 250 ml Dabur Hommade Lemon Juice (Bottle)
  • 1 kg Tata Salt (Vacuum Evaporated Iodised)
  • 1 kg Whole Farm Grocery Sugar (Packet)

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash the cucumber thoroughly and slice it finely into thin rounds.
  2. 2. Sprinkle the cucumber slices with 3 teaspoons of salt and let them sit for 10 minutes to release excess water.
  3. 3. In a small saucepan, combine 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and a pinch of black pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely.
  4. 4. Remove the saucepan from heat and allow the marinade to cool to room temperature.
  5. 5. Drain any excess water from the cucumber slices and place them in a bowl. Pour the cooled marinade over the cucumber slices, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  6. 6. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
  7. 7. Serve the chilled cucumber salad as a light and flavorful dinner side dish.
