Ingredients

  • 1 pc Cabbage Red
  • 200 ml Gowardhan Ghee Jar
  • 250 ml Coco Mama Coconut Milk
  • 1 kg Tata Salt (Vacuum Evaporated Iodised)

Instructions

  1. 1. Cut the cabbage into medium-sized pieces, removing the tough inner core.
  2. 2. Heat 2 tablespoons of ghee in a large pan over medium heat. Add and sauté for 30 seconds to release its aroma.
  3. 3. Add the cabbage to the pan and stir to coat it evenly with the ghee.
  4. 4. Pour in 2 cups of coconut milk and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Cover the pan and cook for about 15 minutes, or until the cabbage is tender.
  5. 5. Uncover the pan and continue cooking until most of the liquid has evaporated. Stir in 1 teaspoon of salt and adjust seasoning to taste.
  6. 6. Serve the braised cabbage warm as a main dish or a side, garnished with fresh coriander if desired.
