Ingredients
- 200 g Hydroponic Sweet Bell Pepper (Cocktail)
- 500 ml Conscious Food Cold Pressed Coconut Oil
- 1 Combo True Elements Jowar Flour,True Elements Bajra Flour,True Elements Quinoa Flour
- 1 pc (100 g) The Select Aisle Double Acting Baking Powder
- 1 kg Supreme Harvest Iodized Salt
- 1 pack (850 g) Kissan No-Onion No-Garlic Tomato Sauce
Instructions
- 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 1/2 cups of flour, 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
- 2. Add 1/4 cup of melted coconut oil and use your fingers or a pastry cutter to blend it into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- 3. Gradually pour in 1 cup of milk, mixing until a firm dough forms.
- 4. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently for 1-2 minutes. Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces.
- 5. Using a floured rolling pin, roll each piece into a 7 to 8-inch circle.
- 6. Place the rolled-out dough circles on a greased baking sheet. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 7. Top each flatbread with Jain-friendly toppings such as tomato sauce, grated cheese, and chopped bell peppers or other non-root vegetables.
- 8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the cheese is melted.
- 9. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
