- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
- 25 g Whole Black Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the rice thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear, then set aside.
- 2. In a medium saucepan, combine the rice and water with a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer until the rice is cooked and fluffy, about 15 minutes.
- 3. While the rice cooks, prepare the chicken marinade by mixing soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper in a small bowl.

- 6. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for 2 minutes. Pour any remaining marinade into the skillet and simmer until slightly thickened.
- 7. Toast sesame seeds in a dry pan over low heat until lightly browned and aromatic, then remove from heat.
- 8. Chop the spring onions finely and set them aside for garnishing.
- 9. Fluff the cooked rice with a fork and drizzle a small amount of sesame oil over it, then mix in the toasted sesame seeds.
- 10. Slice the cooked chicken and serve it over the sesame rice, garnishing with chopped spring onions and extra sesame seeds.
