Ingredients

  • 200 g Itc Master Chef Medium Prawns Peeled & Deveined (Frozen)
  • 100 g Dabur Honey
  • - Dark Soy Sauce-90 GM
  • 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
  • loose Ginger
  • 1 ltr Anveshan Cold Pressed Black Sesame Oil
  • 500 ml Oil (For Frying)
  • 1 pack (1 kg) 921 Everyday Long Grain Rice
  • 200 G Spring Onion(200Gm)
  • 100 g Supreme Harvest White Sesame Seeds
  • 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
  • 25 g Whole Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the rice thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. 2. In a pot, combine the rinsed rice with water and salt, then bring to a boil.
  3. 3. Reduce the heat, cover, and let the rice simmer until cooked and water is absorbed, about 15 minutes.
  4. 4. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and sauté minced garlic and grated ginger until fragrant.
  5. 5. Add cleaned prawns to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
  6. 6. In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, and sesame oil to create the glaze.
  7. 7. Pour the honey garlic glaze over the prawns and stir, cooking for 2 more minutes until the sauce thickens.
  8. 8. Toast sesame seeds lightly in a dry pan until golden and aromatic.
  9. 9. Fluff the cooked rice with a fork and mix in toasted sesame seeds and chopped spring onions.
