Ingredients
- 1pc Butternut Squash
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 200 g Delichic Chicken Broth
- 1 pc (50 g) On1Y Pepper Grinder
- 1 kg Whole Farm Premium Brown Rice
- 16 g Orika Oregano
- 500g to 700g Turkey
- 500 g Whole Farm Grocery Raisins 500 G
Instructions
- 1. In a 5-quart slow cooker, layer 3/4 cup of brown rice, 1 medium butternut squash (peeled, seeded, and cubed), and 1 medium onion (chopped).
- 2. Place 2 turkey breast tenderloins (about 2 1/2 lbs) on top of the vegetable and rice mixture.
- 3. Pour 3 cups of chicken broth over the ingredients, ensuring the rice is fully submerged. Sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon of pepper and 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano.
- 4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 7-8 hours, or until the turkey is fully cooked and the juices run clear.
- 5. Carefully remove the turkey from the slow cooker and slice it into serving portions.
- 6. Stir 1/2 cup of raisins into the rice and vegetable mixture, allowing them to soften for a few minutes.
- 7. Serve the sliced turkey alongside the herbed brown rice and squash mixture for a complete meal.
