Instructions

  1. 1. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add 1 cup of finely chopped sambar onion and 1 minced clove of garlic, sautéing until the onion becomes translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. 2. Stir in 1 cup of diced celery and cook for another 5 minutes until the celery softens.
  3. 3. In a large bowl, crumble 2 cups of paneer into small pieces, leaving some chunks for texture. Add the sautéed onion and celery mixture to the paneer.
  4. 4. Mix in 1 beaten egg, 1/4 cup of chopped parsley, 1/4 teaspoon of Snapin Oregano Seasoning + Chilli Flakes Combo, 1/4 teaspoon of Orika Oregano, and 1/4 teaspoon of Orika Oregano. Combine until evenly mixed.
  5. 5. Form the mixture into eight patties, each about 1/2 inch thick, and place them on a nonstick baking sheet.
  6. 6. Bake the patties in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven, top each patty with 4 ounces of shredded paneer, and return to the oven for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. 7. Serve the patties warm, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
