  • 1 Kg Star Jsr L Kolam Rice1kg
  • 80 g Soya Chunks
  • - Frozen Mixed Vegetables
  • - Suhana Dal Makhani Spice Mix 50g Pouch
  • - Ginger Powder
  • 100 g Catch Garlic Paste
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Popular Essentials Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli Powder
  • - PARACHUTE COCONUT OIL 100ML
  • 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
  • 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the Kolam rice thoroughly under running water and soak it for 15 minutes in a bowl of water.
  2. 2. Boil 300 ml of water in a pot, add the soy chunks, and cook for 5 minutes until softened, then drain and set aside.
  3. 3. Heat 1 tbsp of coconut oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, and let them splutter for 30 seconds.
  4. 4. Add garlic paste and ginger powder to the pan, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. 5. Add the Frozen Mixed Vegetables and chopped green chili to the pan, stirring occasionally for 5 minutes.
  6. 6. Sprinkle Suhana Dal Makhani Spice Mix, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and red chili powder over the vegetables, stirring well to coat.
  7. 7. Add the soy chunks to the pan and mix thoroughly so they absorb the flavors. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  8. 8. In a separate pot, heat 1 tbsp of coconut oil, add the soaked Kolam rice and stir gently for 1 minute.
  9. 9. Pour 200 ml of water into the rice pot, season with salt, and cook on low heat until the rice is fully cooked and fluffy.
  10. 10. Plate the spiced Kolam rice and top it with the soy chunk misal mixture.
  11. 11. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
