Ingredients

  • 500 g Whole Farm Premium Kangni/Foxtail Millet - 500 G
  • 250 g Carrot
  • 500 g Onion
  • - Tomato Ketchup
  • loose Ginger
  • 100 g Garlic
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli
  • 45 g Garam Masala
  • 100 g Salt
  • 1pc Watermelon
  • - Coriander Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the foxtail millet thoroughly and soak it in water for 15 minutes.
  2. 2. Boil the soy chunks in salted water for 5 minutes, then drain and squeeze out excess water.
  3. 3. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, and sauté until aromatic.
  4. 4. Add finely chopped ginger, garlic, and green chili, cooking for about 30 seconds.
  5. 5. Stir in chopped onions and cook until they turn golden brown.
  6. 6. Add diced tomatoes and cook until softened, forming a thick base.
  7. 7. Mix in turmeric, red chili powder, and garam masala, cooking for another minute.
  8. 8. Add diced carrots and green beans, stirring well to coat with the spices.
  9. 9. Add the boiled soy chunks and adjust salt as needed, stirring to combine.
  10. 10. Drain the millet and add it to the pan, mixing with the vegetables and soy chunks.
  11. 11. Pour in water, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover.
  12. 12. Cook for 15-20 minutes until the millet is tender and water is absorbed.
