- 500 g Whole Farm Premium Kangni/Foxtail Millet - 500 G
- 250 g Carrot
- 500 g Onion
- - Tomato Ketchup
- loose Ginger
- 100 g Garlic
- 250g Green Chilli
- 100 g Jeera
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 45 g Garam Masala
- 100 g Salt
- 1pc Watermelon
- - Coriander Powder
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the foxtail millet thoroughly and soak it in water for 15 minutes.
- 2. Boil the soy chunks in salted water for 5 minutes, then drain and squeeze out excess water.
- 3. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, and sauté until aromatic.
- 4. Add finely chopped ginger, garlic, and green chili, cooking for about 30 seconds.
- 5. Stir in chopped onions and cook until they turn golden brown.
- 6. Add diced tomatoes and cook until softened, forming a thick base.
- 7. Mix in turmeric, red chili powder, and garam masala, cooking for another minute.
- 8. Add diced carrots and green beans, stirring well to coat with the spices.
- 9. Add the boiled soy chunks and adjust salt as needed, stirring to combine.
- 10. Drain the millet and add it to the pan, mixing with the vegetables and soy chunks.
- 11. Pour in water, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover.
- 12. Cook for 15-20 minutes until the millet is tender and water is absorbed.
- 13. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander before serving.
- 14. Serve hot and enjoy the hearty flavors of this balanced meal.
