- 500 g Whole Farm Premium Quinoa Seeds
- 180 g Button Mushroom
- - Onion-250 Gms
- 500 g Desi Tomato (Tamatar)
- - Ginger Powder
- 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 140 g Modern Kitchens Raita Boondi - 100 % Rice Bran Oil
- 100 g Popular Essentials Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the quinoa thoroughly under running water to remove any bitterness.
- 2. Cook the quinoa with 300 ml of water and a pinch of salt until fluffy, about 15 minutes.
- 3. Slice the mushrooms, chop the onions, tomatoes, garlic, and green chili finely.
- 4. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds; let them sizzle for a few seconds.
- 5. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
- 6. Stir in the ginger powder, garlic, green chili, turmeric, and coriander powder; cook for 1 minute.
- 7. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until soft and the oil starts to separate, about 5 minutes.
- 8. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté for 5-7 minutes until they are tender and absorb the spices.
- 9. Combine the cooked quinoa with the mushroom masala mixture and mix well.
- 10. Adjust salt as needed and simmer for 2 minutes to meld flavors.
