Ingredients
- 500 g 24 Mantra Organic Malka Masoor
- 200 g Orange Carrot (Gajar)
- 100 g Celery Stalk
- 200 g Sambar Onion Peeled (Sambar Kanda)
- 60G Primi Piatti Red Chilli Flakes
- 200 g Delichic Chicken Broth
- 70 g Namakwali Authentic Mix Seasoning Flavoured Salt
- 1 pc (50 g) Everest Tasteeto Black Pepper | Grinder Cap Bottle
- 250 g Vistevia Sugar Free Tomato Sauce
Instructions
- 1. Rinse 2/3 cup Malka Masoor under cold water and set aside.
- 2. In a slow cooker, combine 1/2 cup diced carrot, 1/2 cup diced celery, 1/2 cup diced onion, 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes, 1 smoked turkey leg, and 4 cups chicken broth.
- 3. Add the rinsed Malka Masoor to the slow cooker, cover, and cook on high for 4-6 hours until the lentils are tender and the turkey is cooked through.
- 4. During the last 45 minutes of cooking, add 1 cup tomato sauce to the slow cooker and stir to combine.
- 5. Once cooked, remove the smoked turkey leg, shred the meat, and discard the bones. Return the shredded turkey to the soup.
- 6. Season the soup to taste with salt and pepper, stir well, and serve hot.
