Ingredients

  • 500 g 24 Mantra Organic Malka Masoor
  • 200 g Orange Carrot (Gajar)
  • 100 g Celery Stalk
  • 200 g Sambar Onion Peeled (Sambar Kanda)
  • 60G Primi Piatti Red Chilli Flakes
  • 200 g Delichic Chicken Broth
  • 70 g Namakwali Authentic Mix Seasoning Flavoured Salt
  • 1 pc (50 g) Everest Tasteeto Black Pepper | Grinder Cap Bottle
  • 250 g Vistevia Sugar Free Tomato Sauce

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse 2/3 cup Malka Masoor under cold water and set aside.
  2. 2. In a slow cooker, combine 1/2 cup diced carrot, 1/2 cup diced celery, 1/2 cup diced onion, 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes, 1 smoked turkey leg, and 4 cups chicken broth.
  3. 3. Add the rinsed Malka Masoor to the slow cooker, cover, and cook on high for 4-6 hours until the lentils are tender and the turkey is cooked through.
  4. 4. During the last 45 minutes of cooking, add 1 cup tomato sauce to the slow cooker and stir to combine.
  5. 5. Once cooked, remove the smoked turkey leg, shred the meat, and discard the bones. Return the shredded turkey to the soup.
  6. 6. Season the soup to taste with salt and pepper, stir well, and serve hot.
