Ingredients

  • 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
  • 400 g Urban Platter San Marzano Whole Peeled Tomatoes
  • 250 g Organically Grown Green Capsicum
  • 250 G Masur Dal
  • 500 g 24 Mantra Organic Malka Masoor
  • 200 g Urban Platter Vegetable Bouillon And Broth Powder
  • 100 g Dg1 Garlic Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. 2. In a 4-quart Dutch oven, bring 2 cups of water and 2 vegetable bouillon cubes to a boil over high heat.
  3. 3. While the liquid heats, dice 1 cup of green capsicum, chop 1 cup of sambar onion, and dice 1 medium tomato.
  4. 4. Once the liquid is boiling, add 1 cup of masur dal, green capsicum, sambar onion, tomato, and 1 teaspoon of garlic powder to the pot. Stir well to combine.
  5. 5. Cover the Dutch oven and transfer it to the preheated oven. Bake for 45 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the masur dal is tender and the flavors are well combined.
