Ingredients
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 1 Kg Kissan Tomato Paste
- 1 pc Cabbage Red
- 200 g Orange Carrot (Gajar)
- 500 g X 2 Organically Grown Potato Combo
- 200 g Green Peas (Peeled)
- 1 kg Tata Salt (Vacuum Evaporated Iodised)
- 1 ltr Kinley Packaged Water
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 2-quart casserole dish.
- 2. In a large skillet, sauté 1 diced sambar onion over medium heat until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
- 3. Stir in 1 can of tomato paste and 1 1/2 cups of water into the skillet with the sautéed onion. Let it simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 4. In the greased casserole dish, layer 2 cups of shredded cabbage, 2 diced carrots, 3 diced potatoes, and 1 cup of peas.
- 5. Pour the tomato and onion mixture evenly over the layered vegetables in the casserole dish. Gently mix to combine the layers slightly.
- 6. Cover the casserole dish with a lid or aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Check the carrots for tenderness to ensure the dish is fully cooked.
