Ingredients
- 250 g Organic Certified Green Capsicum (Donne Menasinakaayi)
- 200 g Peeled Sambhar Onion By Urban Harvest
- 125 g White Shimeji Mushroom (Anabe)
- 500 g Dairy Craft Unsalted White Butter
- 500 G Kinwaaquinoa
- 900 G Kikkoman Naturally Brewed Dark Soy Sauce
- 750 ml Catch Clear Lemon N Lime Flavoured Water
Instructions
- 1. Cut the halal steak into one-inch squares and place them in a bowl.
- 2. In a separate bowl, mix 1 cup of soy sauce with 1/2 cup of water. Pour this mixture over the steak and let it marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- 3. Heat 225 g of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add 1 lb of sliced green peppers, 1/2 lb of sliced onions, and 200 g of sliced mushrooms. Sauté until the vegetables are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- 4. In a large skillet or Dutch oven, combine the marinated steak (along with the marinade) and the sautéed vegetables. Cover and simmer on low heat for 2 to 2 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally, until the steak is tender.
- 5. Serve the steak and vegetable mixture over cooked quinoa for a complete and satisfying meal.
