Ingredients
- 500 g Pluckk Organic Hybrid Tomatoes
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 250 g Organically Grown Green Capsicum
- 50 g Tata Sampann Clove Whole (Laung)
- 1 kg Whole Farm Grocery Sugar (Packet)
- 45 g On1Y Cinnamon Powder
- 1 kg Simply Staples Mineral Rich Sea Salt
- 473 ml Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 pack (25 g) Snapin Nutmeg Powder
Instructions
- 1. Chop 12 onions, 3 green peppers, and 2 kg of tomatoes into small pieces.
- 2. In a large pot, combine the chopped onions, green peppers, and tomatoes with 5 cups of sugar, 1/2 cup of sea salt, 7 cups of apple cider vinegar, 2 teaspoons of cinnamon, 2 teaspoons of clove, and 2 teaspoons of nutmeg powder.
- 3. Cook the mixture on low heat, stirring occasionally, until it thickens to a sauce-like consistency. This may take about 1-2 hours.
- 4. Once the sauce has thickened, taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- 5. Carefully ladle the hot sauce into sterilized jars, leaving some headspace. Seal the jars tightly and allow them to cool completely before storing.
