Ingredients
- 125 g Mooz Butter Garlic & Herbes
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 1 pack (1 kg) 921 Everyday Long Grain Rice
- 200 g Delichic Chicken Broth
- 1 kg Akar Powder Salt
- 100 g X 3 Mtr Turmeric Powder | Arisina Pudi Combo
- 50 g Sakthi Curry Powder
- 100 g Catch Black Pepper Powder
- 1 pack (25 g) Snapin Nutmeg Powder
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- 2. In a large skillet, melt 1/4 cup butter over medium heat.
- 3. Add 1 finely chopped onion and 1 1/2 cups of rice to the skillet. Cook and stir for about 5 minutes, until the rice turns golden and the onion becomes tender.
- 4. Stir in 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg powder, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric, 1/4 teaspoon curry powder, and 1/8 teaspoon pepper, ensuring the spices coat the rice evenly.
- 5. Transfer the rice mixture to an ungreased 2-quart casserole dish.
- 6. Heat 3 1/2 cups of chicken broth to a boil in a separate saucepan, then pour it over the rice mixture in the casserole dish. Stir gently to combine.
- 7. Cover the casserole dish tightly with a lid or aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the liquid is absorbed and the rice is tender.
- 8. Remove from the oven, fluff the rice with a fork, and serve warm.
