Ingredients
- 125 g Mooz Butter Garlic & Herbes
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 80 g Knorr Vegetables Stock Cubes
- 1 Kg Red Lotus Special Flour
- 1 kg Tata Salt (Vacuum Evaporated Iodised)
- 1 pack (100 g) Tata Sampann Pure Black Pepper Powder
Instructions
- 1. In a large pot, bring 6 cups of water to a boil and dissolve 2 vegetable bouillon cubes to create a flavorful stock. Set aside.
- 2. In a Dutch oven or large pan, pour in 4 cups of vegetable stock over medium heat until it begins to simmer.
- 3. Add 4 thinly sliced onions to the pan and cook, stirring occasionally, until they are golden brown and caramelized, about 20-25 minutes.
- 4. Sprinkle 1/3 cup of flour over the onions and stir well to coat. Cook for 2-3 minutes to remove the raw flour taste.
- 5. Gradually add the prepared vegetable stock to the pan, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Season with 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp black pepper.
- 6. Bring the soup to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
- 7. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Serve hot with crusty bread or a side of your choice.
