Ingredients
- Pcs Chings Masala Chicken Chilli
- 250g Ginger
- 500 g Chicken Whole
- - Mustard Seeds
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 10G Salt
- 500 ml Water
- 250g Coriander
- 500 g Rice
- 100 g Garlic
Instructions
- Step 1: Wash the chicken thoroughly and pat it dry. Cut it into medium pieces and marinate with 5 g of turmeric powder and 3 g of salt. Set aside for 15 minutes.
- Step 2: Grind mustard seeds, garlic, and ginger into a smooth paste using 50 ml of water. Ensure the paste is fine and free of lumps.
- Step 3: Heat 30 ml of mustard oil in a heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat until it begins to shimmer. Add cumin seeds and allow them to crackle for 30 seconds.
- Step 4: Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally to ensure it browns evenly on all sides.
- Step 5: Lower the heat and add the mustard paste, 5 g red chili powder, and 150 ml of water. Cover the pan and simmer for 15 minutes until the chicken is tender and the curry thickens.
- Step 6: Adjust salt to taste, garnish with chopped coriander leaves, and turn off the heat.
- Step 7: Serve hot with steamed rice prepared beforehand. Ensure the rice is soft and fluffy for a balanced pairing.
