Ingredients

  • 500 g Carrot
  • 250 g Zucchini Green
  • 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
  • 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
  • 200 g Hommade Tomato Puree
  • 250 g Beans Broad
  • 1 kg Tata Salt (Vacuum Evaporated Iodised)
  • 1 pack (100 g) Tata Sampann Pure Black Pepper Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse 12 oz of great northern beans and soak them in water for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  2. 2. Drain and rinse the beans, then place them in a large pot. Add enough water to cover the beans and cook over medium heat until tender, about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
  3. 3. While the beans are cooking, peel and dice 2 carrots, 2 zucchinis, and 1 onion. Mince 2 cloves of garlic.
  4. 4. Once the beans are tender, add the diced carrots, zucchinis, onion, and minced garlic to the pot. Stir in 1 can (14 oz) of tomato puree, 1 tsp of salt, and 1/2 tsp of black pepper.
  5. 5. Simmer the stew over medium heat for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender and the flavors are well combined.
  6. 6. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot with a side of fresh bread or rice for a complete meal.
