Ingredients

  • 200 g Itc Master Chef Medium Prawns Peeled & Deveined (Frozen)
  • 100g Greek Yogurt
  • 250 ml Keya Lemon Juice
  • 1 pack (100 g) Everest - Ginger Garlic Paste
  • - Red Chilli
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 50 g Everest Cumin Powder
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
  • 500 ml Oil (For Frying)
  • 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
  • 1 pack (1 kg) 921 Everyday Long Grain Rice
  • 1 pack (50 g) Town Grocer Bay Leaf/Tej Patta
  • 1 kg Rice

Instructions

  1. 1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt to create the marinade.
  2. 2. Add the prawns to the marinade, coat well, and let them rest for 20 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  3. 3. Thread the marinated prawns onto skewers, ensuring even spacing for uniform cooking.
  4. 4. Heat a grill pan or tawa and brush with vegetable oil to prevent sticking.
  5. 5. Grill the prawn skewers on medium heat for 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are cooked and slightly charred.
  6. 6. Meanwhile, rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear to remove excess starch.
  7. 7. Heat vegetable oil in a saucepan, add cumin seeds and bay leaf, and sauté until aromatic.
