- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 70G Maretti Oven Baked Bruschette Mediterranean Vegetables Chips (70g)
- 750 g Priya Sunflower Oil
- - Garlic Powder
- - Ginger Powder
- 500 G Preserved Dried Salted Black Beans
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the rice under running water until clear and set aside to drain.
- 2. Heat the cooking oil in a medium-sized pan over medium heat for about 1 minute.
- 3. Add garlic powder, ginger powder, and freshly grated turmeric to the pan and sauté for 1 minute until aromatic.
- 4. Add the preserved dried salted black beans and stir for another minute to incorporate the flavors.
- 5. Add the washed rice to the pan and stir gently to coat it with the spices.
- 6. Pour in the water and bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.
- 7. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan with a lid, and let the rice simmer for 12-15 minutes.
- 8. While the rice is cooking, steam the frozen mixed vegetables until tender, approximately 5-7 minutes.
