Ingredients

  • - White Poha (White Rice Flakes)
  • 90 g Dark Soy Sauce
  • 50 g Honey
  • - Rice Vinegar
  • 100 g Garlic
  • loose Ginger
  • 250 g Carrot
  • 1 pc Broccoli
  • 200 ml Sesame Oil
  • 50 g White Sesame Seeds

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse and cook the white rice in a pot with water until fluffy, then set aside.
  2. 2. Press the firm tofu to remove excess moisture and cut it into bite-sized cubes.
  3. 3. Mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and grated ginger in a bowl to prepare the teriyaki sauce.
  4. 4. In a separate small bowl, combine cornstarch with a bit of water to create a slurry for thickening the sauce.
  5. 5. Heat sesame oil in a skillet, add the tofu pieces, and pan-fry until golden brown on all sides.
  6. 6. Remove the tofu from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, sauté sliced carrots and broccoli florets until tender-crisp.
  7. 7. Pour the teriyaki sauce into the skillet, then add the cornstarch slurry and stir until the sauce thickens.
