Ingredients
- - Besan
- 500 g Curd
- 1 box Baking Soda
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 200 g Table Salt
- Pcs Ajwain 50g
- 500 Ml Champion Oil
- 25 g Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- 500 g Onion
- 1 Kg Kissan Tomato Puree
- 200 ml Coconut Milk
- 100 g Jeera
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 45 g Garam Masala
- 100 g Salt
- - Coriander Powder
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the basmati rice thoroughly and soak it in water for 20 minutes.
- 2. Cut the tofu into cubes and lightly pan-fry them in vegetable oil until golden brown.
- 3. Chop the carrots, green beans, and onion into small pieces and set aside.
- 4. Heat oil in a large pan and add cumin seeds, letting them sizzle for 30 seconds.
- 5. Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown, stirring occasionally.
- 6. Mix in the ginger garlic paste, turmeric, red chili powder, and garam masala, cooking for 1 minute.
- 7. Stir in the tomato puree and cook until the oil begins to separate from the mixture.
- 8. Add the chopped vegetables and sauté for 3-4 minutes to combine the flavors.
- 9. Pour in the coconut milk and water, followed by the soaked rice and fried tofu.
- 10. Add salt and gently stir everything together before covering the pan with a lid.
- 11. Simmer the biryani on low heat for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is fully cooked.
- 12. Garnish the biryani with freshly chopped coriander leaves before serving warm.
